Where Our Ganoderma Grows

The Mountains Choose the Ganoderma

The mountains choose the Ganoderma. We just listen.

The northern Fujian highlands sit at over 800 meters elevation, with average annual humidity of 78%. The balance of sunlight hours, day-night temperature swings, and the natural nutrients in decomposing hardwood create the ideal conditions for Ganoderma lucidum.

Ganoderma is particular about where it grows. It does not tolerate chemical fertilizers. It demands clean air and pure water. When we searched for our cultivation base, we visited more than a dozen sites before selecting this cloud-wrapped, remote valley — because only here would Ganoderma grow the way it is meant to.

Wild-Crafted Cultivation

We use log-based cultivation — the slower, more demanding method — rather than sawdust bag cultivation. It takes longer and costs more, but the results are worth it.

  Log Cultivation Sawdust Bag Cultivation
Cycle 12–18 months 3–6 months
Active compounds Higher (richer triterpenes & polysaccharides) Relatively lower
Cost Higher Lower
Environmental requirement Strict Less demanding

One log, one Ganoderma. Fresh wood in year one — no harvest, full colonization. Single harvest in year two. The log then returns to the forest floor, completing the cycle.

Harvested at the Right Moment

Timing is everything. Harvest too early and the active compounds are underdeveloped. Harvest too late and the spores have already dispersed — taking the most valuable compounds with them.

Our harvest criteria:

  • White growth ring at the cap edge is fully closed
  • Surface color has deepened; waxy layer is fully formed
  • Tube layer color is stable — no whitish new growth
  • Into primary processing within 48 hours of harvest
Full traceability: Every batch's harvest is logged and archived — traceable to the exact plot and date.

No Shortcuts Between the Mountain and the Capsule

No shortcuts between the mountain and the capsule.

Freshly harvested Ganoderma is sorted and cleaned at our primary processing facility at 1,200 m elevation, then shipped cold-chain to the production plant. Temperature is maintained at 4–8°C throughout transport to preserve active compounds.

We do not purchase commodity "ganoderma raw material" for third-party processing. From cultivation to encapsulation — every step is under our direct control.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where exactly is your cultivation base located?

The base is in the northern Fujian highlands. For security reasons, the exact location is not publicly listed, but clients may apply for an on-site visit.

Do you use any pesticides or fertilizers?

None. Our base is certified organic. No synthetic pesticides, fertilizers, or herbicides are used at any stage.

Is the raw material for your spore powder and spore oil the same?

Spore powder comes from the spores shed by the fruiting body after harvest. Spore oil is collected from mature spores just before dispersal. The active compound profiles differ, which is why we manage and process them separately.

Can I trace a specific batch?

Yes. Each batch carries a traceable code on the packaging. Contact us with your batch number and we will provide the full cultivation and harvest log for that lot.

Is your cultivation process audited by third parties?

Yes. Our organic certification body conducts annual on-site audits. Reports are available upon request for B2B customers.

How do you ensure the logs are clean and uncontaminated?

We source logs exclusively from certified timber operations and air-dry them for a minimum of six months before inoculation. No chemical treatment is applied to the logs at any point.
